Glen Prairie
Owner, Sales & Design Consultant

Glen Prairie is an award winning kitchen designer with features published in national magazines including the Canadian Living Magazine. "Comprehensive planning" is the key - taking spatial needs, functionality and long term needs into consideration. "I sit down with my customers and discuss their family and lifestyle needs, the image they want to create and, of course, their budget and then I define the options available to them. I understand their project from the inside out: electrical, plumbing, partition or bearing walls, technical and aesthetic aspects, appliances, fixtures and surfacing materials. Taking the time to understand the customer's needs is a key element in designing the most suitable project for their home."
Robert Tolles
Project Manager & Site Supervisor
Building has been a family tradition for many years for Rob. Both his father and grandfather were successful carpenters and from them, Robert acquired extensive experience and knowledge that he applied to his career as a reputable homebuilder. At the age of 22, Rob built his first home and from there continued to literally "build" a solid reputation with his customers. In 1994, he became a registered licensed Tarion builder as well as a licensed R-2000 builder, in 2004. Robert has built over 120 new custom homes as well as numerous renovations. With his knowledge and building experience, we are pleased to have Robert join our team as the head of the construction side.
Chris Conway
Project Coordinator & Administration
Chris has been part of the TLC team since 2000. She has played a number of different roles over the evolution and growth of the company. From greeting new customers when they first call, to ordering and unloading materials and contacting the various trades people that are involved in completing a renovation, she is involved at every level.
With Chris' background in graphic arts and her interest, as well as knowledge, in interior decorating, she also enjoys assisting in the selection of materials and finishes, when needed.
Chris' goal is to assist in making your renovation experience a good once. She is the friendly voice on the other end of the phone that keeps the customer informed of upcoming events and to follow up on service completion.
Céleste Pilon
Design Consultant
Céleste Pilon has recently graduated from the Interior Design program at Georgian College (2010). She was an honour student all throughout her schooling. While at Georgian she received the Liberty Design Award in April 2008 and the Interface Flooring Systems Award in April 2009 for excellence in her work. Céleste has also volunteered abroad with Habitat for Humanity, the Global Village program, to Guatemala where she, and other volunteers, helped two families with the building of their homes. Céleste started with us in May 2009 and brings a current, young and up to date perspective on design to Total Living Concepts.
Ron Howell
Sales Consultant (Window and Door – Special Product)
Ron is a recent addition to the TLC team. As head of our Window and Door division, his task is to provide our customers with the highest quality product at competitive prices. Having spent most of his life in the Barrie and Simcoe Country area he has seen "unimaginable" growth and opportunity. He is highly involved with local service work and has recently returned from a wheel-chair distribution in Ecuador.
Ron says: "TLC is such an exceptional company that it is a pleasure being able to fit into their team to help move their window and door efforts forward". We are always looking at new product lines and it is exciting finding, investigating and bringing new ideas forward to our Total Living Concepts customers.
