As we said goodbye to 2022 and welcomed in 2023, we wanted to take a moment to reflect on some of our favorite projects from the past year. The project that was voted as runner up on the end of year polls on our Instagram account (follow us here) is our Lakeview Ensuite!
Shower was crowded and felt claustrophobic

Before the renovation, this bathroom was functional, had all the required features, but lacked personal flare, and was needing some updating. (There were even some plumbing issues!)
At TLC we always look to use the best techniques to ensure that your projects will last well into the future, because this job is in a condo building, need to make sure we’re using the appropriate materials (non-combustible steel studs, etc.,), but also we like to use Schluter Ditra ® to prevent floor tile from cracking, and Schluter Kerdi Board ® to waterproof the entire shower area.

Our team recently completed this stunning bathroom renovation in a condominium building in the heart of Barrie. The goal was to create a functional and stylish space that would make the homeowners feel like they were at a luxury spa.
To achieve this, we focused on custom touches that would elevate the space. We added a stand-alone soaker tub, a custom shower with a rainfall shower head and handheld sprayer, and a custom niche to house all of the homeowners’ bath products
But the real showstopper was the tile work. We used a mix of sleek, modern tiles and warm, natural stone to create a cohesive look that would stand the test of time.
Overall, this bathroom renovation was a complete success. The homeowners now have a space that they love to spend time in, and it has added value to their home.
